The UTAL lump breaker is designed to crush lumps in dry bulk materials to a specified particle size.
A reliable design and properly selected construction materials ensure effective crushing over a long service life.
The crushing unit uses two stages of counter-rotating shafts: a preliminary coarse grinding stage and a fine grinding stage. Material enters through the feed funnel; flow from the funnel into the crushing hopper is regulated by the safety damper position. The UTAL crushing unit can be manufactured in manual and automatic versions. The grinding degree is set by the adjustment bolt of the damping device.
The breaker is controlled from the main or remote control panel. Mushroom emergency-stop buttons on both panels stop the motors in an emergency.
The operator platform on the manually loaded version is 900 mm high. This height does not fall within the definition of work at height. The crushed product discharge opening is 900 mm high, allowing a receiving hopper to be placed below.
