Flour sifter
The flour sifter is designed to aerate, sift and feed flour into a dough mixer. The hopper holds a batch of up to 75 kg of flour. The drive operates three mechanisms simultaneously:
an agitator prevents flour from bridging in the hopper;
an eccentric produces reciprocating sieve motion;
an auger lifts sifted flour through a vertical pipe to the discharge point.
Small metal particles that pass through the sieve are caught by a magnetic trap on the discharge pipe. To clean the sieve, open one of the doors, slide the sieve drawer out of its guides and shake it out. A lever-operated retractable wheel makes the sifter easy to move. The sifter is very simple to operate, requires virtually no maintenance and is reliable.
