The UTAL-C10 drying unit is a convection drying cabinet for 20 mesh trays measuring 900х900 mm.
The drying cabinet is versatile and designed for drying a wide range of products. Made of stainless steel.

Tubular electric heating elements maintain the temperature inside the cabinet.
A powerful centrifugal fan on the rear wall circulates the drying medium throughout the chamber. A system of air ducts directs the flows evenly along the trays. Air enters and leaves through the air inlet and outlet connections. The damper positions determine the rate at which the drying medium is replaced.
A variable frequency drive allows the airflow intensity to be adjusted.
The engineers paid particular attention to cabinet control. The main control device is the UTAL drying cabinet controller with a touchscreen control panel.
The programmable interface allows 6 different programs to be set, each with 10 steps. This ensures even, controlled drying without overheating the material in the initial drying stages. The following parameters are set for each step:
temperature;
duration;
positions of the air inlet and outlet dampers, as well as their cyclic operation.
An audible signal sounds and an indicator light comes on when moving to the next step and when the program finishes.
During cabinet operation, the display shows the heating element load percentage.
At any point during program execution, the settings can be accessed and the program parameters changed without switching off the cabinet.
The program can be paused and restarted at any time; the program timer also pauses.
If necessary, the operator can start the next program step at any time.
The temperature is controlled by PID controllers, which eliminate fluctuations during heating.
The PID control parameter service menu allows the coefficients to be changed for a faster or smoother temperature rise. A sensor calibration menu is also provided.
The drying cabinet is equipped with a humidity sensor (psychrometer). The relative humidity readings inside the cabinet help the operator set the most precise program parameters.
Adjusting the inflow rate of the drying medium allows electricity to be used economically instead of heating the atmosphere.
The achievable temperature range is 30-100 °C. Custom manufacture is available for any temperature regime up to 500 °C.
If required, the cabinet can be equipped with a refrigeration unit. Moisture condenses on the cold heat exchanger and is removed from the drying chamber.
The drying cabinet can additionally be equipped with a weighing module. This allows the weight of the loaded raw material to be monitored and the product yield to be calculated precisely.
The cabinet has double walls with insulation (basalt wool) between them.
The UTAL-С10 drying cabinet has 20 mounting positions for racks measuring 900Х900 (racks are not included in the scope of supply and are priced separately). The cabinet can also be manufactured to accommodate a roll-out rack.
The cabinet has adjustable supports (feet) and transport wheels. Despite its weight and dimensions, 1 person can move the cabinet and set it level even on an uneven floor.
The cabinet door has a window for visual monitoring of the drying process. An illumination lamp is fitted inside the cabinet.
